WASHINGTON - The U.S. Department of Defense this week announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corp., Stratford, Conn., is being awarded a $9,586,594 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for the installation and training of the cockpit upgrade program for the VH-60N executive helicopter. Work will be performed in Stratford, Conn., and is expected to be completed in December 2010. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured.The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, Md. is the contracting activity (N00019-07-C-0047).
