Calvert Animal Welfare League, Inc.
Our mission is to build and operate a private, nonprofit, state-of-the-art animal shelter to serve the pets and people of Calvert County and surrounding areas. Our vision is to provide a friendly, caring environment to promote adoption of unwanted, homeless dogs and cats. We now offer educational programs to children to teach kindness, mold attitudes, and clearly define responsible pet care and respect for animals. Our Spay and Neuter certificate program gives financial assistance to lower income families to remove the barrier of cost.
