Arc of Southern Maryland at St. Mary's
Our philosophy is that children, regardless of their disabilities, belong with their families and should be provided opportunities affor4ded other children within our community. The group promotes community involvement, responsibility, independence and personal success for people with mental retardation/ developmental disabilities and their families in St. Mary's County. Our family support services are nationally recognized. Services may include, but are not limited to, purchase of medical supplies, specialized and adaptive equipment, installation of ramps, assistance with purchase of disposable briefs, formal and informal counseling, respite care information, and crisis information. If you are a parent, guardian or relative of a person with mental retardation or another developmental disabilities, you are not alone. The Arc of Southern Maryland is here to help.
