Simple Farofa - Brasil
The ingredients: - ½ kilo de farinha de mandioca (manioc flour)
- 3 colheres de sopa de manteiga (3 tablespoons of butter)
- garlic and onion golden in the butter
- salt to taste
When the manioc flour is toasted, the Brazilians call it Farofa. Heat a medium skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter, the garlic and the onion until golden. Add the manioc flour and stir slowly until the flour has a lightly toasted color and is warm throughout. Serve it as an accompaniment.
