MOMS Club of La Plata is a support group designed just for you, the at-home mothers of today! You are interested in the world around you, wanting a variety of activities for you and your children and are proud of your choice of at-home mothering for your families. The International MOMS Club (MOMS Offering Moms Support) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support for mothers who choose to stay at home to raise their children or who work part-time. Our goal includes providing moral support for at-home mothers, planning fun and educational activities for our children, providing a forum for topics of interest to women, and performing service projects, especially those benefiting children. We are a lay led Orthodox Anglican worship group, formed in early 2005. We presently meet each Sunday morning at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, Building Two, Room 135, 44219 Airport Road, California, Md. Our worship schedule is one Sunday of Holy Communion brought to us on the second Sunday of each month by a visiting Anglican District of Virginia (ADV) priest and all other Sundays being Morning Prayer. Periodically we are blessed to have other Sundays where an Anglican priest will bring us the sacramental ministry of Holy Communion. Our discipline of worship is taken from the 1662 Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and those BCPs based on the 1662, most notably the use of the 1928 BCP.

BridgeWay is currently a church plant. A church plant is one of the most exciting types of churches to be a part of because everything is new and fresh. The people in church plants get to know each other well as they work side by side to dream and build things God has given them to build. A church plant is an extremely active church because it is actively seeking to grow and spread the good news of Jesus Christ in order to become the church that God desires.

Being a church plant means that BridgeWay is working as a body to grow our visibility in the community and build the foundations of future ministries. This exciting work gives members the opportunity to build strong relationships with each other through prayer, discussion, and service.
