Elizabeth Patricia "Pat" Callanan

On December 22, 2003, ELIZABETH PATRICIA "Pat" CALLANAN, 63, of California, MD (and formerly of Essex, MD), died in Leonardtown, MD. Born February 5, 1940 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Teresa Thim. She was the loving wife of Paul Callanan whom she married at St. Clare's Catholic Church in Essex, MD on September 30, 1967. She was the devoted mother of Jeffrey Callanan and his wife, Kim, of Fort Pierce, FL and Christine Holtz and her husband, Chad, of California, MD. She is also survived by four grandchildren. She was the sister of Charles Thim and Catherine Thim of Baltimore, MD, Anna Regina Gessner and Dolly Edge of Bel Air, MD, Richard Thim of Reisterstown, MD., F. William Thim of Fort Pierce, Fl, and the late Bernadette Schaech and Margaret Thim. Prayers for Mrs. Callanan will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2003 at 7:00 PM in the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home where the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Visitation and Viewing will also be held on Monday, December 29, 2003 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex at 300 Mace Avenue in Essex, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at 10:00 AM in St. Clare's Catholic Church in Essex, MD. Interment will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Gardens in Baltimore, MD. Contributions may be made to St. Mary's County Humane Society and/or the Carmelite Monastery. Arrangements provided by Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home, P.A. and the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex.
