Happy Thanksgiving. This year was the first year that I had to spend without you, and it was hard to get through, it just isn't the same. People tell me it will get easier, but I guess they have never lost a parent, and had to try to get through a day or night without just breaking down in tears, which I do just driving, how hard it is sometimes to just get out of bed, how hard it is to fall asleep at night. The pain is unbearable sometimes. It's amazing how much a loss of a parent hurts no matter how close or far apart they are. The grandkids miss you lots and talk about you all the time. We all miss and love you lots. Hope you are doing okay.
