"The Broken Chain"

We knew little that morning that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In Death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone,For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

**Dad...It's been almost 2 months now,I know you are in Heaven and feel so comforted in knowing where you are and that I will see you again someday.It's still just a tremendous shock to all of us that you were taken from us so fast.It will be so hard for the rest of my life to imagine life without you.I think of you every day and I will always remember your bravery and courage.I truly love you Dad,and you are and will always be so sorely missed.Sincerely,Tina**
