It has been six months now that you have been gone. It still seems like yesterday when I had a rush order placed on my wedding video to show it to you, when I kissed your little forehead and held your little hand so tight. I still remember the night when I told you that I new that you were going to pass away on my birthday. I told you that I would never ever regret that day. Just to do me one favor and that was to tell Pop Pop that Holly Hobbie said, "Hello" and that I love him and to take good care of you. I would feel more blessed and to know that you are at peace and not in pain. And so the next morning you did so.
Maw Maw I want you to know that you are the strongest woman I have ever met in my life and you were the back bone of the family. You mothered 10 kids and managed to be a wonderful grandmother to 25 grandkids and 15 great-grandkids with 2 more on the way and 2 that were just born. I wish things were like they use to be instead of fighting over who is going to get what. Your one and only wish that you wanted before you passed was for the family to stick together. The only one and true lost is you Maw Maw. Material things are not going to bring you back and neither is money. The one thing that I have are the memories of you that know one can take away and that I can pass on to my childern that I have to let them know how much of a remarkable woman you are. So if you are listening Maw Maw please give the family the strength and ability to overcome this greed thing and keep the family tradition going. The big meals at the Holiday gatherings are going to be missed so much without you there. I just hope that the family continues to keep the memories of you going.

Love and Think about you always!!
Holly Hobbie
