It's almost February 14th - the day for love. As I sit here thinking of you with tears running down my face, my heart continues to ache from the loss of you.. It's not any better, in some ways it's worse. I'm just better at covering it up now (I think). February is an awful month to be here without you. It marked the 4th month since you left...it has Valentines' Day...and on the 26th we would have celebrated your 51st birthday.
So I'm going to get sentimental on you:
I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday and days before that too.
I think of you in silence, I often speak your name.
All I have are memories and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake,with which I'll never part.
God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.
I miss you so very, very much!
Those we have held in our arms for a little while, we hold in our hearts forever.
