Agnes Cecelia Burch Wedding, 83, of Friendsville, MD formerly of Valley Lee, MD died on February 6, 2016 at her home in Friendsville, MD. Born July 6, 1932 in Hollywood, MD she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. Burch Sr. and late Bertha Knott Burch.

She was a homemaker and loved gardening vegetables, her flowers & plants, Washington Redskins and the Baltimore Orioles. She was a graduate of Saint John's School in Hollywood, MD.

Predeceased by her parents Joseph M. Burch Sr. and Bertha Knott Burch; son Larry E. Wedding, Sr.; grandson Paul Shifflett, siblings, Joseph Burch Jr., Marie Stansbury, Richard Burch, Mary Catherine Dean and Frankie Burch, Companion Joseph L. Owens.

Agnes is survived by her daughters, Donna Holt (Stewart), Arleen Burch (Leroy), Nancy "Christy" Smith (Thomas).

Grandchildren are George Mattingly Jr, Steve Shifflett, Gary Shifflett, Brian Smith, Kelly O'Meara, Amanda Castle, Mike Burch, Tammy Burch and Larry Wedding Jr., 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Family will receive friends for Agnes's visitation on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A. 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. St. George's Catholic Church, 19199 St. George Church Road, Valley Lee, MD 20692.
