Grady Carl Eugene Ramey, 57, of Mechanicsville, MD passed away on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Medstar Washington Hospital Center. Born September 26, 1958 he was the son of Grady Aary Ramey and Patricia Anne Ramey.

Grady was a successful small business owner who loved the outdoors and spent most of his time in the woods or on the water. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who loved teaching others how to be a "great white hunter" as he would call himself. He had a relationship with his son that many father's will never know. His sense of humor was legendary and he always had an air of confidence around him where ever he went. He could tell a joke that wasn't even funny or no one understood but everyone would be laughing.

Grady is survived by his parents, wife Carol Ramey; son Shawn Carl Ramey (Chelsea); grandchildren, Shawn Carl Ramey Jr. and Isabella Skye Ramey: siblings Loretta Anne Graves, Steven Douglas Ramey, Barbara Lynn Shawyer.

Family will welcome friends on Thursday, May 12, 2016, for Grady's memorial life celebration from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. followed by a service a 7:00 p.m. at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622.
