Hilda Lillie Farrell, 89, of Waldorf, Maryland died on February 19, 2017 at William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, Florida. Born on May 27, 1927 in Lower Marlboro, MD she was the daughter of William S. and Carrie Norton Scaggs. Mrs. Farrell was a Registered Nurse who served at St. Elizabeth's Hospital until her retirement. She was a member of the Women of the Moose at the Moose Lodge in White Plains, MD. She enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard, Bingo, puzzles and Washington Redskins football.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Theodore Farrell; her nine siblings. She is survived by her children Janet Arnez (Gonzalo), Richard Farrell Jr. (Susan), Jean Baker (Steve), Joyce Mothershead (George); seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2017 from 5 PM to 8 PM with the Women of the Moose Memorial Service at 7 PM at the Raymond Funeral Service, P.A. 5635 Washington Avenue La Plata, MD 20646 where Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 beginning at 10 AM.
