He leaves his loving wife of 14 years, Catherine Perrucci, his two children Michael and Gina Perrucci (Jeremy), beloved grandson Roman, and stepsons James and Michael Devault. He is also survived by his sister, Anna Marie Rufino, and nephew and niece Amedeo Rufino and Angela Rufino Devers (Chris), and great nephew and nieces Elle, Amedeo, Gio, Enzo, Luna, Cesare "Cesie", and Luca; cousins Nicholas Volpe (Rhonda), Michael Volpe (Alessandra), and Rocco Volpe (Michelle), as well as many more cousins and friends.

Paulie was a veteran of the United State's Army, then worked as a dental technician for the Washington Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where he retired after 30 years. During and after his employment, he also ran his own dental lab, Chesapeake Dental Ceramics. Paulie enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, camping, and spending quality time with all of his family. He was also a dedicated soccer coach for his children for 8 years, for the Calvert Soccer Association, Calvert County Parks and Recreation, and various select teams throughout the State of Maryland. He always had a strong opinion on just about anything, and wasn't afraid to express it. He always had a story about his childhood in Philadelphia, PA and summers in Brigantine, NJ. He was proud of his Italian heritage and always enjoyed his Dad's specialty: Italian meatballs and homemade pasta.
