Fred Rudolph Reh, 88, of Owings, MD passed away at his home on May 15, 2017. He was born in Washington, DC and served in the United States Navy and Marine Corps before dedicating his life to law enforcement. Mr. Reh followed in his father's footsteps and joined the Prince George's County Police department in 1961. He was a detective for 16 years. He was also a member of the Hyattsville City Police Department, serving as a detective for three years.

Mr. Reh is survived by his wife of three years, Helene; daughter, Cindy Barnett of Owings; three grandchildren, Jennifer Reh Gardiner, Christopher B. Barnett, Jr. and Shane Barnett and five great-grandchildren. His first wife, Dorothy; son, Fred, III and sisters, Julia Osborne and Maude Dennison predeceased him.
