Donald Franklin Jones, 85, of Barstow, MD, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on January 2, 1933 to Ted and Annie [William] Jones. After serving in the United States Army, he started his own appliance repair business, Metropolitan Services and became a Master Plumber. Donald loved his family and was a hard worker. He was a friend to everyone who knew him.

He was the beloved husband to the late Virginia Lee Jones and the loving father of Sandra Bonanni, Donnie Jones, Danny Jones and the late Denny Jones. He was the father-in-law of Darlina Jones and Roberta Jones. He was the step-father of Anita Warnes (John) and Dusty Lynch (Judy). Donald was the devoted grandfather of 12 grandchildren 16 great-grandchildren with two more on the way.

Family invites friends to Lee Funeral Home Calvert, Owings, MD 20736, on Saturday, June 23 at 11 am and Funeral Services at 1 pm. Interment will be held at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD, at a later date.
