Joyce E. Hanbury, 91, of Lexington Park, MD passed away on December 9, 2018 at MedStar St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown, MD. Joyce was the daughter of the late Floyd White and Geraldine Plunkett White. She was born in Sheffield, PA on August 16, 1927. Joyce worked as a Domestic Engineer. In her younger years she enjoyed working in her garden, fishing and motorcycling with her husband, and camping with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was predeceased by her husband, Horatio "Ray" Hanbury; her son, Floyd Thomas "Tommy" Hanbury and her daughter-in-law, Barbara Hanbury. She is survived by her children, April Vallingham (Marion), Carl Hanbury (Mimi), Gary Hanbury (Tammy); sister, Patricia Cochran and two grandsons, Thomas "Tommy" and Clifford "Cliff" Hanbury.

Family will receive friends for Joyce's visitation on Friday, December 14th from 11:30AM to 1PM at Brinsfield Funeral Home, P.A., 30195 Three Notch Road, Charlotte Hall, MD 20622. Funeral service will follow at 1PM with Pastor Dave Huffman officiating. Interment will be private.
