Joshua Lee Richmond, age 37 of Waldorf, Maryland, died on September 4, 2019. He lived in Charles County all his life. Joshua was an artist, both musically and creatively. He took pride in his work, family and friends. He took an interest in fixing up cars, something he learned early on from his step-dad. He was especially proud of a recent Honda that he built himself. His main pride and joy remained his children, family, and friends.

He was the son of Remus Allen Lowe and Anna Lorraine Grinder. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his step-father, John Charles Grinder. He is survived by his fiancé, Dawn Gale; his unborn son, Joshua Owen James Richmond; his daughter, Makayla Jade Elizabeth Richmond; his brothers, Bobby Grinder and Chucky Grinder; his brothers-in-law, Andrew McAlwee, Steven Cusato, and Chad Whisman; and his sisters, Shannon Whisman, Candice McAlwee, Brandy Penn, and Amanda Hunter. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5-8PM with Prayer Service at 7PM and where Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at 11AM at Raymond Funeral Service Chapel, 5635 Washington Avenue, La Plata, Maryland 20646. Interment to follow at All Faith Episcopal Church Cemetery, 38885 New Market Turner Road, Mechanicsville, Maryland 20659. Memorial contributions are asked to assist the family with funeral expenses.
