On Saturday, January 26, 2013, Spencer Roland Hill, Sr. quietly departed this life into eternal rest. Spencer was born on August 6, 1948, to Irene E. Hill Harris and the late Joseph Richard Hill, Sr. of Newburg, Maryland.

He attended Charles County public schools and graduated from La Plata High School. He became affiliated with Shiloh Community United Methodist Church during the early years of his life.

Spencer was employed by Aggregate Industries Management Inc., La Plata, Maryland, as a Machine Operator for many years until becoming disabled with illness in 2009. His hobbies were drag racing, riding his motorcycle, and he loved watching different shows on television.

Survived by his mother Irene E. Hill-Harris; children, Spencer R. Hill, Jr., Dorene "Niecey" Hill, and treated as a daughter, Rosslyn "Puddin" King (preceded in death her son, Michael Dorsey); two granddaughters Danesha Hill and Canesha Wells; treated as grandsons, Donzell Dorsey and Tyrell Bivins; and one great grandson, Kamron Herron. Spencer leaves to mourn a brother, Joseph R. "Butch" Hill, Jr. (Barbara), and special cousins, Bernard "Sonny Boy" Washington (Gloria); the late Melvina "Judy" Norris, Patricia Queen (Eldridge), Sandra Contee (Joseph) and Beverly Wade (Paul); two nephews, Tyrone Curtis and Corey Hill and a loving niece, Phyllis Hill; a Best Friend, Alphonso Thomas "Mann", nephews, nieces, a hosts of god children, and many, many friends in the Shiloh Community.

Friends and Family will celebrate his life on Saturday, February 2, 2013, visitation 9:00 am until time of services 11:00 am at Shiloh Community United Methodist Church, Newburg, Maryland, Interment at Shiloh Church Cemetery.
