Mary Chizuko Schrider 79 of La Plata, MD. Died on March 1, 2013 in her home. She was born on December 9, 1933 in Aichi-Ken, Japan to the late Iwaichi and Fujino Suzuki. She is also predeceased by her brother Iwaomi Suzuki.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, William Franklin Schrider, sons Leo E. Schrider of Oakland, CA. and John E. Schrider and his wife Lori of Berkeley Springs, WV., daughter Agnes F. Schrider of Nellysford, VA., brothers Norimoto Suzuki of Ichinomiya, Japan, sister Ikuyo Kato, 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Sacred Heart Church in La Plata, MD., and was a former member of the Swan Point Bridge Club. She enjoyed bridge, reading and gardening.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday March 5, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM at the Arehart-Echols Funeral Home, La Plata, MD. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday March 6, 2013 10 AM at the Sacred Heart Church La Plata, MD. Interment to follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Washington, DC.
