Shirley Jean Brown, 65, of Prince Frederick, MD passed away on June 22, 2013 in Prince Frederick, MD. Shirley was born on March 26, 1948 in Charleroi, PA to Robert and Delores Nutt.

Shirley moved to Calvert County from Pennsylvania in 1978 with her husband and family. She was an avid animal lover and just felt she could better their lives.

Shirley was predeceased by her parents, and is survived by her husband Ron Brown; her son Robert Brown and his wife Lisa of Huntingtown, MD. Shirley is also survived by her siblings Donna Smith of Clartor, PA, Robert Nutt of Charleroi, PA, and Debbie Nutt of Losh Creek, West Virginia.

All services for Mrs. Brown are to be private, but if you would like to make a memorial contribution in the memory of Shirley Brown they can be sent to Calvert County Nursing Center of Prince Frederick, MD, and Olivet Methodist Church, Lusby, MD.
