Camp Hosts are valuable Maryland State Park volunteers. In exchange for working a stipulated number of hours each week, Camp Hosts enjoy a free campsite in one of 19 parks around the state, from Janes Island on the lower Eastern Shore to New Germany in the mountainous west.
