Assault First Degree

on 06/12/05 Dfc. S. Myers responded to a report of an Assault on Town Creek Drive, California, Maryland. Investigation by Dfc. Myers revealed the victim, Rajahn Hampton and his spouse, Barbara Hampton were involved in a domestic dispute. The suspect, Barbara Hampton, retrieved a knife from the kitchen of the residence and attacked the victim causing a laceration to victim Hampton's arm. The suspect was subsequently apprehended, transported to the Detention Center, charged with First Degree Assault / Second Degree Assault, and incarcerated pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.

Theft / Property Destruction

On 06/12/05 Dfc. E. Trossbach reponded to the Mckay's Food and Drug in Charlotte Hall, Maryland for the reported Theft / Property Destruction. Investigation by Dfc. Trossbach revealed unknown culprit(s) pried open a Pepsi machine and removed the money from the coin box. Loss is estimted at $300.00.

Property Destruction to Motor Vehicle

On 06/12/05 Dfc. J. Molitor responded to a private residence on Midway Drive, Lexington Park, Maryland for the reported Property Destruction. Investigation by Dfc. Molitor revealed unknown culprit(s) broke the window out of victim Jeffery Jackson's motor vehicle during the night. Loss is estimated at $200.00.

Theft Under $100.00

On 06/12/05 Dfc. K. Roberts investigated the theft of a Cellular Telephone in the Lexington Park area. Investigation revealed a fourteen year old juvenile stole the phone from a relative and made numerous calls on the phone. The juvenile was arrested, charged with Teft under $100.00, and released to her parent pending further action by juvenile authorities.
