Two Armed Robberies in Waldorf in as Many Days


ARMED ROBBERY: On June 17 at 11:11 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Burger King at 2375 Crain Highway in Waldorf for an armed robbery report. Investigation revealed a male employee went outside to dump garbage and was approached by two men brandishing handguns. The suspects ordered the man back inside the business where the suspects locked the man and another male employee inside the refrigerator. The suspects ordered a female employee to stay at the front desk. The suspects stole an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot. No employees were injured. Both suspects are described as black males between 16 and 18 years old and approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall. They were wearing black clothes and a mask. ARMED ROBBERY: On June 18 at 2:15 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Post Office Road near Copley Avenue in Waldorf for an armed robbery report. Investigation revealed two suspects approached a 15-year-old Waldorf girl and a 20-year-old Springfield man on Post Office Road, one suspect brandished a handgun and demanded their personal items. The victims complied, the suspects stole various items and fled the scene toward Smallwood Drive. Both suspects are described as white males, between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing between 160 and 180 pounds and had a medium build.
