July 05, 2005:
Delegate Frank will be serving as the Chief Deputy Whip following the departure of Delegate Charles Boutin to a position on the Public Service Commission. Delegate Frank had previously served as the Assistant Minority Whip.
Delegate Haddaway has been appointed the new Assistant Minority Whip, and Delegate Dwyer has been appointed as a Deputy Whip.
"These three members of our caucus have proven themselves to be notable in their dedication and ability," said Minority Leader George C. Edwards (District 1A). "There is no doubt that they will serve the caucus well in their new positions."
"I am very pleased to be working closely with these three members of our caucus leadership. I have always regarded Delegate Frank as a valuable asset to the leadership team, and I am looking forward to collaborating with Delegates Dwyer and Haddaway as we move into this significant period in the legislature," said Minority Whip Anthony J. O'Donnell (District 29C).
As members of the leadership roster in the House Republican Caucus, the delegates will work with the Minority Leader and Whip to communicate with caucus members and coordinate legislative strategy.
All three of the delegates have been members in the House of Delegates since 2003. Delegate Frank serves on the Health and Government Operations Committee, having previously served on Appropriations. Delegate Haddaway serves on the Economic Matters Committee, and Delegate Dwyer serves on the Judiciary Committee.
