Charles County Doctor's License Permanently Revoked

On October 6, 2005, Waheed Uddin Akthar of LaPlata had his medical license permanently revoked by the Maryland Board of Physicians. Last January, Akthar plead guilty to fondling patients in his White Plains office.

To read the Board's disciplinary action, go to https://www.mbp.state.md.us/bpqapp/ and type in "Akthar" for practitioner's last name.
