Brandywine Man Arrested in Stolen Car


10/05/05 - Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on southbound MD Rt. 5 at Billingsley Road.

A computer check of the tags revealed they were reported stolen through the Charles County Sheriff's Office. The computer check also revealed the driver, Daniel Lee Carroll Jr., 40 years, of Brandywine, was wanted through the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Department.

Mr. Carroll was arrested and a search incident to arrest revealed suspected marijuana. Mr. Carroll was subsequently charged with possession of marijuana, and incarcerated in the Charles County Detention Center pending a bond review. Tpr. C. Stevenson conducted this investigation.
