4 Suspects in Jan Armed Robbery Served with Grand Jury Indictments


On 02-27-06, the four listed suspects were served with Circuit Court Grand Jury Indictments charging them with various criminal charges related to the January, 2006 armed robbery and attempted murder at a local motel (See http://somd.com/news/headlines/articles/3167.shtml). All suspects are currently incarcerated in the St. Mary's County Detention Center and are awaiting trial.

1. William James Waters 25 years of age from Lexington Park was charged with the crimes of Armed Robbery, Conspiracy to commit Armed Robbery, Theft over $500.00 and both First and Second Degree Assault.

2. Kristina Hope Beggs 27 years of age from Lexington Park was charged with the crimes of Armed Robbery, Robbery with a dangerous weapon, Conspiracy to commit Armed Robbery, Theft over $500.00, and both First and Second Degree Assault.

3. Jermaine Dewitt Dyson 28 years of age from Lexington Park was charged with the crimes of Armed Robbery, Robbery with a dangerous weapon, Conspiracy to commit Armed Robbery, Theft over $500.00, Carrying dangerous weapon, Use of handgun in commission of felony, both First and Second Degree Assault as well as Attempted Murder. Dyson was additionally charged with (1) additional count of use of handgun in commission of a felony in relation to a separate assault occurring in May, 2005, unrelated to this crime.

4. Brian Andre Carter 28 years of age from Lexington Park was charged with the crimes of Armed Robbery, Robbery with a dangerous weapon, Conspiracy to commit Armed Robbery, Theft over $500.00, and both First and Second Degree Assault.
