Two juveniles, ages 14 and 15 of Piney Point, were also with Cobbs in his car. They were flown to Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Margaret Bell suffered serious life threatening injuries and was flown to Prince Georges Shock Trauma Center. The front seat passenger, James M. Bell Sr., received incapacitating injuries and was treated at St. Mary's Hospital. Timothy Cobbs was initially treated at St. Mary's Hospital but was later flown to Washington Hospital Center. Initial investigation was conducted by SDFC Eric Walker and SDFC Daniel Synder of St. Mary's Sheriff's Office. Follow up investigation was also conducted by the Sheriff's Office Collision Reconstruction Investigative Team. Alcohol and CDS are being investigated as being a contributing circumstance in the collision on the part of Timothy Cobbs. |
