MSP Reports for Calvert County


POSSESSION OF STOLEN TAGS/MARIJUANA: On 4-19, 2:34 AM, Rt. 2/4, St. Leonard, TFC Bowling stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed that the tags displayed on the vehicle had been reported stolen by the PG Co. PD. Arrested at that time for theft were Brandon Adrian Richards, 26, of Bowie, and Antoine Marquis Thomas, 27, of Lanham. Incident to arrest, a baggie of suspected marijuana was located in the vehicle. The two were then charged with possession of marijuana. After processing, they were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

DISORDERLY/Destruction of Property: On 4-20, 9:20 PM, TPR Ewig responded to the Prince Frederick KFC for a disorderly complaint. Investigation led to the arrest of Shannon Marie Scannell, 30, of Huntingtown. Once placed inside TPR Ewig’s vehicle, Ms. Scannell proceeded to kick the dashboard/air bag area and window, causing $2,000.00 in damage. After being charged with Destruction of Property (+$500) and disorderly conduct, she was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

THEFT/Destruction of Property: On 4-22, 2:40 AM, Rt. 2, Solomons, TPR Chirichella was flagged down by a Victim of theft/Destruction of Property. Investigation revealed that Mark Donato Austin, 21, of Brandywine, and Tyler Lee Wickline, 24, of Waldorf, had stolen some meat from a grill and damaged the grill in the process. Both were charged with theft (-$100) and Destruction of Property (-$500). After processing, they were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

Destruction of Property: On 4-22, 3:30 AM, TPR Bigham responded to a residence on Virginia Ave., Prince Frederick, for a destruction of property complaint. TPR Bigham observed damage to two windows and the siding. Investigation led to the arrest of Chance Canon Negy, 18, of Prince Frederick, for Destruction of Property (+$500). After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.

TRESPASSING: On 4-23, 6:00 PM, TFC Lashley responded to an area off of Sollers Wharf Rd., Lusby, for a trespassing complaint. Investigation revealed that Stephen Albert Travis, Jr., 22, of Lusby, Weston Edward Hernandez, 23, of Lusby, Derek Roosevelt Cooley, 23, of Lusby, Nicholas Andrew Rapp, 18, of Lusby, and Michael Patrick Williams, Jr. 22, of St. Leonard, were riding ATV’s on posted private property. They were issued criminal citations for trespassing with an off-road vehicle and released.
