Hughesville Man's Conduct Lands him in Jail for Disorderly & Assault


On 04/29/2006 at approximately 2245 hours, Deputy Angela M. Muller responded to Marshall Street in Mechanicsville for a report of an intoxicated, disorderly subject. The subject was identified as Joseph Wayne Mank, 23 years old of Hughesville, MD. While at the scene, Deputy Muller observed Mank acting in a disorderly manner refusing to lower his voice and was disturbing the neighborhood. Mank continued after repeated warnings by Deputy Muller and grabbed the Deputy's wrist. Mank was subsequently taken into custody and was charged with Disorderly Conduct, Failure To Obey a Lawful Order, and 2nd Degree Assault.
