St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


Catherine Marie Sullivan (Age 45 of Mechanicsville was arrested by Deputy Michael Harrison related to a theft scheme. Suspect Sullivan stole the victim’s credit card and used it various locations throughout St. Mary’s County. Suspect Sullivan was charged with Felony Theft Scheme over $500.00, Theft under $500.00 (two counts) and Fraud.

Deputy Charles Dodson served a Criminal Summons of Kenneth Lee Childs (Age 37 of Lexington Park) with passing a $40.00 back check.

Deputy David Yingling responded to a domestic dispute at a Lexington Park residence. Once on the scene he encountered Suspect Ralph Arthur Tawney Jr. (Age 47 of Lexington Park). The suspect was intoxicated and uncooperative. As Deputy Yingling began to interview the Victim, Suspect Tawney’s wife, he noted injuries consistent with the assault she was describing. Suspect Tawney was arrested and charged with Second Degree Assault.

Deputy Zorana Sipos arrested William Samuel Honig (Age 24 of Drayden, Md.) on an outstanding warrant through Charles County. The charges included two (2) counts of burglary, assault second degree, and trespass and property destruction.

An off duty St. Mary’s County Deputy was shopping in a California establishment when he observed a subject begin to steal items from the store. On duty Deputy Zorana Sipos responded and the Suspect, Todd Lamarr Harrod (Age 18 of Lusby, Md) was arrested. All of the items were recovered and returned to the establishment. The total value of the theft was over $252.00.

Paul Raymond Gray (Age 58 from Lexington Park) was arrested by Deputy Jason Graves on an open District Court Bench warrant for Failure to Pay Court Costs and or Restitution.

Deputy Ronald Maloy arrested Steven Craig Harris (Age 39 of Valley Lee, Md.) on an open warrant through the District Court of St. Mary’s County related to an assault. The investigation was conducted by Deputy Zorana Sipos.

Deputy Jason Graves located Suspect Richard Ramon Dent (Age 25 of Mechanicsville) and found through a check that he was wanted. He was taken into custody for an open District Court warrant related to a Failure to Appear on a possession of marijuana charge. A search incident to that arrest revealed Suspect Dent was again in possession of marijuana and was charged accordingly.
