LA PLATA, Md. - The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

BURGLARIES: Sometime overnight between Oct. 15 and Oct. 16, suspect(s) stole five GE refrigerators and GE stoves from houses under construction in the Charles Crossing neighborhood on Middletown Road in Waldorf. Officer A. St. Germain is investigating.

Sometime overnight between Oct. 15 and Oct. 16, suspect(s) broke the front window of Waldorf Action Martial Arts and Fitness located at 2700 Crain Highway in Waldorf. The suspect(s) did not enter the business. Officer C. Shaw is investigating.

Sometime during the night on Oct. 14, suspect(s) gained entry into Southern Maryland Printing located at 7 Industrial Park Drive in Waldorf. Once inside the business, the suspect(s) broke into several soda and vending machines and stole cash. Officer J. Long, Jr., is investigating.

Sometime overnight between Oct. 14 and Oct. 15, suspect(s) broke the front door glass of Waldorf Shoe Repair located at 2216 Crain Highway in Waldorf, entered the business and stole 20 football jerseys. Officer C. Shaw is investigating.

Sometime overnight between Oct. 13 and Oct. 14, suspect(s) gained entry into AMC Relocators located at 2695 Old Washington Road in Waldorf, broke into several soda machines and stole cash. Officer C. Shaw is investigating.

ARMED ROBBERY: On Oct. 15 at 12:15 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to AMF Waldorf Lanes located at 11920 Acton Lane in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery. Investigation revealed the victim, a 16-year-old Waldorf boy, was standing outside the business when he was approached by the suspect, who brandished a handgun and ordered the boy to empty to his pockets. The boy complied and the suspect fled the area on foot toward Lake Drive. Officers and a K9 team checked the area but were unable to locate the suspect. The suspect is described as a black male, is 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He was wearing a green or gray hooded jacket. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Charles County Sheriff’s Office at 301-932-7777. Officer E. Baker is investigating.

BURGLARY: On Oct. 13 at 4:30 a.m., Charles County Sheriff’s officers responded to Walton’s Seafood Carryout located at 3330 Livingston Road in Bryans Road for the report of a burglary. Investigation revealed two suspects broke the glass in the front door and entered the business, where they were confronted by the owner. The suspects stole the cash register, cash and alcohol and then fled the scene in a burgundy Ford Thunderbird with temporary tags.
