Calvert County Sheriff's Reports


PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident reports.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: A victim on Gray Road in St. Leonard reported to Dep. Aaron R. Locke on October 11 that sometime the previous night an unknown suspected made a large "U" shape on his front lawn, tearing up the grass and leaving tire ruts. Dep. Locke will continue the investigation.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Cpl. Kent W. Gregory was contacted by a victim on White Sands Drive in Lusby on October 12. The victim reported that a white substance, which appeared to be sugar, had been poured into his gas tank, all the way to the top. The victim discovered the substance when he attempted to fill his tank with gas. Cpl. Gregory will continue the investigation.

THEFT: A victim reported to Sgt. Brian Koehn that his Verizon video cell phone was stolen from his locked vehicle. The victim stated that his vehicle was parked at Griffins Pub and Grill on Chesapeake Beach Road East in Owings on October 13 at 12:30 p.m. When he returned to the vehicle, he discovered the phone was missing. It is valued at $300.00. Sgt. Koehn will continue the investigation.
