On Dec. 14 at 3:50 a.m., Sheriff’s officers responded to Wawa located at 4210 Crain Highway in White Plains for the report of an armed robbery. The officer's investigation revealed the suspect entered the store and walked up to one employee, brandished a handgun and demanded a second employee to open the register. The employee complied and the suspect fled on foot running toward Billingsley Road. The suspect in both armed robberies is described as a light-complexioned black or Hispanic male in his late teens to early 20s, wearing black clothing. After reviewing video surveillance, Detectives believe both armed robberies are connected. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact Det. T. Miner at 301-609-6499. |
