MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (May 06, 2008) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 1:56 pm, TFC L. Nims responded to the Leonardtown Barrack for the reported Theft under $100.00. Contact was made with the female complainant who advised unknown suspect(s) stole her purse from the residence. The purse contained two birth certificates, one child support card, her Maryland driver's license, miscellaneous credit cards and social security cards. Investigation continues.

BURGLARY: On Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 9:57 am, TFC M. Moore responded to the 21000 block of Enterprise Road for the reported Burglary. Contact was made with the victim, who advised unknown suspect(s) kicked in the rear door and broke a window to gain entry into the residence. During the investigation, it was determined that Justin Antoine Parker, 18, of Lexington Park burglarized the apartment. Mr. Parker was later located, taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11:53 am, Robert Ellsworth Watson, 3rd, 33, of Great Mills and Samantha Denise Watson, 34, of Great Mills were arrested by TFC E. Evans for possession of Marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia. TFC E. Evans responded to the 21000 block of Chancellors Run Road in Great Mills for a Domestic Disturbance. During the investigation, both Robert Watson and Samantha Watson were found to be in possession of four CDS smoking devices. Both suspects were transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where they were detained pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 4:38 pm, Matthew Thomas Inman, 19, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC Trossbach for possession of Marijuana. Mr. Inman was operating a white Cadillac when he was stopped for a traffic violation on Locks Hill Road in Mechanicsville. During the course of the traffic stop, TFC P. Trossbach made contact with the operator, Mr. Inman and a strong odor of burnt and green Marijuana were emitting from the vehicle. Mr. Inman was found to be in possession of three clear plastic bags of Marijuana, three glass CDS smoking devices and a silver metal weighing scale. Mr. Inman was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 8:38 pm, Kevin Andrew Widmayer, 28, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana, Driving While Suspended and DUI. Mr. Widmayer was operating a white Cadillac on Route 242, in the area of Route 470 when he was stopped for exceeding the posted speed limit. During the course of the traffic stop, contact was made with Mr. Widmayer and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage was emitting from his breath and person. Mr. Widmayer was subsequently arrested for DUI. A routine check through MVA revealed his driving privileges were suspended. A search incident to the arrest revealed Mr. Widmayer was found to be in possession of a metal container with Marijuana residue attached to his keychain. Mr. Widmayer was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

ILLEGAL DRUGS: On Sunday, May 4, 2008 at 9:21 pm, Stanley Theodore Kaminski, 52, of Clinton was arrested by TFC P. Trossbach for possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Kaminski was operating a blue Chevrolet when he was stopped at Route 5 and Route 243 in Leonardtown for failing to stop on a red light. Upon making contact with the operator, Mr. Kaminski, TFC P. Trossbach observed in plain view a blue ceramic CDS smoking device laying on the floor. Mr. Kaminski was placed under arrest and a search incident to the arrest revealed Mr. Kaminski was also in possession of a clear plastic bag of Marijuana which was recovered from the vehicle's center console. Mr. Kaminski was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 12:55 pm, Tammy Mae Butler, 31, of Waldorf was arrested by Tpr. J. Hardesty on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13256) for Violation of Probation which was issued by the District Court in Leonardtown on January 24, 2008. Ms. Butler was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Thursday, May 1, 2008 at 3:44 pm, Phillip Randolph Adams, 28, of Clements was arrested by Tpr. M. Adams on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13373) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on April 22, 2008. The original charge was Driving without a License. Mr. Adams was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, May 2, 2008 at 12:10 am, Paul William Barton, 48, of Lusby was arrested by Tpr. C. Evans on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13373) for Failing to Appear in District Court in Leonardtown on April 22, 2008. The original charge was possession of Marijuana and CDS paraphernalia. Mr. Barton was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, May 2, 2008 at 10:25 am, Lois Ann Doyle, 40, of Waldorf was arrested by Tpr. D. Brill on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13387) for Failing to Appear in District Court in La Plata on April 30, 2008. The original charge was DUI. Ms. Doyle was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where she was held pending a bond review.

WARRANT ARREST: On Friday, May 2, 2008 at 5:50 pm, Patrick Joseph Darbie, Jr., 18, of Mechanicsville was arrested by TFC R. Rezza on an outstanding Bench Warrant (T3-13388) for Failing to Appear in District Court in La Plata on April 25, 2008. The original charge was Malicious Destruction of Property over $500.00. Mr. Darbie was taken into custody and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was detained pending a bond review.
