LA PLATA, Md. (Dec. 18, 2008) - The Charles County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

ROBBERY: On Dec. 12 at 10:35 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to the 2500 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf for the report of an armed robbery. Investigation revealed the victim was in the process of making a delivery when the suspect confronted him, displayed a handgun and forced the victim to the back of his delivery truck. The suspect stole about 60 cartons of cigarettes and fled. Officer C. Baker is investigating.

BURGLARY SUSPECT IDENTIFIED: On Dec.16 at 9:30 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's detectives, along with members of the PGPD, served a search warrant at an address in Capitol Heights, Maryland in reference to an ongoing investigation of a burglary at the White Plains Wine and Spirits that occurred n Dec. 4. As a result of the investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging the suspect, Kevin Leslie Montgomery, 45, of Capitol Heights, with second-degree burglary. Detective A. Celia is investigating.

SUSPECTS CHARGED WITH THEFT: On Dec. 11 at 6:15 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to Sears at Mall Circle Drive in Waldorf for the report of a theft. Investigation revealed the suspects, Dana Eugene Napier, 24, of Waldorf and Angela Marie Detamore, 22, of Waldorf, stole numerous articles of clothing and fled the store. The suspects were apprehended and charged with theft under $500. Officer Barnhart, Sr. handled the call.
