Posted on BURGLARY ARREST: On Dec. 21 at 9 p.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers arrested Shawn Maurice Price, 45, of Bel Alton in connection with a burglary and motor vehicle theft that occurred earlier that evening at Superior Cleaning at 12325 Washington Square in Waldorf. Price was charged with burglary, motor vehicle theft and resisting arrest. Officer M. Thompson made the arrest. BURGLARY: The Charles County Sheriff's Office is investigating a burglary that occurred in the 1200 block of Adams Court in Waldorf between Dec. 15 at 7 a.m. and Dec. 18 at 7 p.m. Investigation revealed an unknown suspect gained entry into the residence by shattering a second floor window. The suspect stole jewelry and fled. Officer J. Walter is handling the investigating. BURGLARY ARREST: On Dec. 18 at 9:20 a.m., Charles County Sheriff's officers responded to an intrusion alarm in the 6300 block of South Lake Court in Bryans Road. As officers approached the residence, the suspect was seen running from the rear of the house into a wooded area. Officers pursued the suspect on foot and apprehended him a short distance away. The suspect, a 16-year-old male from Bryans Road, was charged with first-degree burglary. Corporal R. Padgett and Officer M. Beall made the arrest. HELP NEEDED IDENTIFYING CREDIT CARD FRAUD SUSPECT: The Charles County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in identifying a woman wanted in connection with a theft of a credit card in Charles County which was later used to make purchases at a department store in Lanham, MD. The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic female with long, dark hair. In a surveillance photo taken in March, the woman appeared to be pregnant. A photo taken in September indicates she may have had the baby. In several cases, the woman was seen getting into a green station wagon after the theft. Anyone with information regarding the woman's identity is asked to call Detective E. Clark of the Charles County Sheriff's Office, Financial Crimes Unit at (301) 609-6499. Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for the tip that leads to the arrest and indictment of the suspect.
