Post Office Rd. in Waldorf to Close for Emergency Water Main Repairs

WALDORF, Md. (June 22, 2009) -- The Charles County Department of Utilities and Department of Public Facilities announced that Post Office Road, between Industrial Park Drive and Copley Avenue will be closed beginning at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday in order to make emergency water main repairs. Repairs are expected to be completed by the morning rush-hour on Wednesday.
Southbound traffic will be diverted onto Industrial Park Drive. Northbound traffic will be diverted onto Copley Avenue. Both Copley Avenue and Industrial Park Drive intersect, to the west, at Smallwood Drive, near northbound 301.
Signs will be posted letting drivers know of detour routes.
