PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Nov. 4, 2009) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) recently released the following incident and arrest reports.

POSSESSION OF PRESCRIPTION DRUGS WITHOUT PRESCRIPTION: On September 30 at 3:20 p.m., Trooper First Class Lass responded to the Calvert County Detention Center for a reported drug violation. Mari L. Zell, 46 of St. Leonard, was being served warrants at the detention center and was observed concealing a Percocet pill in her shoe. She was charged with Possession of drugs/ Possession of Contraband in a Detention Facility.

FALSE STATEMENT TO POLICE: On October 4 at 12:43 p.m., Trooper Lewis stopped a vehicle for traffic violations. The passenger in the vehicle, Eugene R. Thomas, 23 of Washington, DC, provided false identification to conceal his identity to attempt to avoid open warrants against him. He was charged and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: On October 6 at 9:00 a.m., Trooper Donaldson responded to the 700 block of Monarch Lane in Huntingtown for a reported theft of items from a vehicle. The victim advised that a purse and camera were stolen from the vehicle.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On October 7 at 11:22 p.m., Trooper Roby responded to the 5300 block of Forest Trail in St. Leonard for a reported destruction of property to a vehicle. The driver's side window was broken out of a vehicle.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On October 8 at 8:25 a.m., Trooper First Class Lass responded to the 1200 block of Calvert Beach Road in St. Leonard for a reported destruction of property. The rear window of a truck was broken out with a marble shot from a sling shot.

POSSESSION OF MARJUANA: On October 10 at 10:02 a.m., Trooper First Class Lazooick stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Rt. 4 at Rt. 260 in Dunkirk. Belinda D. Anderson, 33 of Port Republic, was found to be in possession of Marijuana. She was charged and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.

THEFT OF VEHICLE: On October 14 at 8:08 a.m., Trooper Bender received a report of a stolen vehicle. A 1994 Ford Blue Ranger Pickup Truck (tag MD 69M800) was taken from the 3800 block of Hunting Creek Road in Huntingtown. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

BURGLARY: On October 14 at 6:16 p.m., Trooper Saucerman responded to the 3300 block of Jones Road in Dunkirk for a reported burglary. Approximately $600 in cash was stolen from a residence. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Maryland State Police at 410-535-1400.

ASSAULT: On October 17 at 1:50 a.m., Trooper First Class Hunt responded to the 13900 block of HG Truman Road in Solomons for a reported assault. A verbal argument escalated into a physical assault. Samuel Rogalski, 26, Joseph Jimney, 24, and Ronald Scott, 22, all from Lusby, were arrested for second degree assault and transported to the Calvert County Detention Center for processing.
