Posted on The November 11, 2008, 4:12 a.m. vehicle fire occurred at the Marshall Hall Boat Ramp in Bryans Road, Maryland. The fire caused $8,000.00 in damage to the vehicle. Investigators, after conducting an extensive investigation, determined that Gregory had driven his vehicle to the boat ramp and intentionally set the vehicle on fire. He reported the theft of the vehicle to police the same day and filed an insurance claim with his local insurance company. As a result of the investigation a district court commissioner issued a criminal charging document that charged Gregory with 2nd degree arson, insurance fraud and making a false statement to police. He was served the criminal summons yesterday at his Crofton home. A preliminary hearing is set for December 28, 2009. Source: Maryland State Fire Marshal |
