PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (Nov. 16, 2009) - The Calvert County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

DOP: On November 12 DFC Edwin Bradley responded to a home on Lighthouse Blvd. in Lusby for the report of a destruction of property. The complainant advised that over the past three weeks unknown suspect(s) had damaged or stolen several road signs. The signs for Calvert Blvd. and Holly Drive were both stolen and later found along the beach. A Private Road/No Trespassing sign was broken off its post. The damage is estimated at $150. Anyone with information can contact DFC Bradley at 410-535-2800.

THEFT: A black 15 inch Dell Latitude laptop computer valued at $1000 was stolen from the front counter of the Calvert County Library Southern Branch in Lusby on November 13 between 10:00 a.m. and 4:15 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact DFC Thomas Rickard at 410-535-2800.

THEFT: DFC Aaron Locke charged a juvenile with theft on November 13 at 2:00 p.m. after he was called to the Prince Frederick K-Mart. A loss prevention officer with the store advised that they witnessed a juvenile female attempt to leave the store with about $20 worth of merchandise without paying. Locke charged the 15-year-old girl from Lusby with theft on a youth report and she was released to a parent.

DOP: Dep. Andre Mitchell responded to Chesapeake Lighthouse Drive in North Beach for a destruction of property call. Unknown suspect(s) had spray painted yellow paint on vehicles, driveways, a fence, a trash can and two street signs sometime between November 13 at 10:30 p.m. and November 14 at 8:15 a.m. The damage is estimated at $350. Anyone who witnessed the crime or has any information is asked to contact Dep. Mitchell at 410-535-2800.

THEFT: Unknown suspect(s) stole two Worthington 100 gallon propane tanks that were full, valued at $420, from Sea Dive on Solomons Island Road in Solomons sometime between November 13 and 14. DFC Aaron Locke is investigating.

THEFT FROM VEHICLE: A victim on Hatfield Road in Huntingtown reported to Dep. Andre Mitchell that sometime between 2:00 p.m. on November 14 and 11:15 a.m. on November 15, someone stole a black and orange North Face backpack, a black Coach Wristlet wallet and other various items totaling $208 from her vehicle. The victim thinks the vehicle may have been left unlocked. Anyone with information is asked to contact Dep. Mitchell.

DISORDERLY: On November 15 at 1:10 p.m. DFC Aaron Locke received a call for a possible intoxicated female in the roadway on Tomahawk Trail West in Lusby. Upon his arrival he observed a female standing in the middle of the intersection of Gunsmoke Trail and Tomahawk Trail. She was attempting to stop cars as they passed. She was holding a beer in one hand and a cigarette in the other. She was contacted and instructed to get rid of the beer and return to her home which was located less than 150 yards away. Another call was dispatched for a female in the roadway but she was not located. A third call came in with the same description of a female staggering in the parking lot of the Lusby Town Square shopping center. Locke arrested Lisa Marie Tippett, 44 of Lusby, and charged her with disorderly intoxication.
