Raydiance, Inc., Petaluma, Calif., is being awarded a $9,925,000 ceiling priced indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for a Phase III Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) program that will expedite necessary ultrafast laser research and development in order to meet both Navy mission and commercial needs by providing funding to both integrate the technology developed and continue pursuing innovations in ultrafast laser technology from Phase I and Phase II. Phase I and Phase II work derives from, extends, or logically concludes efforts performed under prior SBIR/Small Business Technology Transfer program contracts. Work will be performed in Petaluma, Calif., and is expected to be completed in September 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Northrop Grumman Corp., Integrated Systems, Bethpage, N.Y., is being awarded a $9,300,000 modification to a previously awarded firm-fixed-price contract (N00019-08-C-0027) for non-recurring engineering in support of new supplier qualification and startup in support of E-2D Advanced Hawkeye aircraft low-rate initial production Lot 1 and 2 aircraft. Work will be performed in Bethpage, N.Y. (40.63 percent); Edgewood, N.Y. (22.35 percent); St. Augustine, Fla., (20.86 percent); Aire-sur-l'Adour, France (14.17 percent); and various locations within the continental United States (1.99 percent). Work is expected to be completed in January 2011. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. McDonnell Douglas Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Co., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $6,072,003 firm-fixed-price delivery order against a previously issued basic ordering agreement for the procurement of 35 SUU-78 centerline pylons and 14 ALE-50 well covers in support of FY-10 aircraft armament equipment production activities for the F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft. Work will be performed in El Segundo, Calif. (86 percent); St. Louis, Mo. (11 percent); and Irvine, Calif., (3 percent). Work is expected to be completed in April 2012. ITT Industries Corp., Integrated Electronic Warfare Systems, Clifton, N.J., is being awarded a $111,737,911 not-to-exceed firm-fixed-price contract for non-recurring engineering required to modify, manufacture, test and deliver 17 AN/ALQ-214(V)3 radio frequency defensive electronic countermeasures engineering development model (EDM) units. In addition, this contract provides for delivery of three ALQ-214 systems test fixtures (test benches). These EDM units are required for the test and evaluation of the associated engineering change proposal prior to making a production cut-in decision for an alternate configuration of the ALQ-214 for the F/A-18C/DE/F aircraft. Work will be performed in Clifton, N.J. (54 percent); San Jose, Calif. (24 percent); San Diego, Calif. (19 percent); Rancho Cordova, Calif. (2 percent); and Tampa, Fla. (1 percent). Work is expected to be completed in June 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
