CSM Theatre Company Announces Cast for Latest Production


LA PLATA, Md. (Feb. 24, 2009)—The College of Southern Maryland’s Theatre Company has announced its cast for the spring production of “Wait Until Dark,” a mystery suspense written by Frederick Knott.

Susy Hendrix, the central character in Knott’s thriller, is a blind housewife terrorized by three criminals searching for a doll stuffed with drugs that they believe is hidden in her apartment.

Sherry Santana of Waldorf will play Susy and Andy Whetzel of Waldorf will play Roat the thug leader. Matt Jameson and Richard Taylor, both of Waldorf, play the other two crooks Carlino and Mike respectively.

Also appearing on stage will be Dale Sanchez of Indian Head as Sam Hendrix, Susy’s husband; and Christina Tersero of Waldorf as Gloria, Susy’s neighbor. Patrolmen 1 and 2 are played by March Kenny and Diane Payne respectively, also of Waldorf.
