ANNAPOLIS - In a Capital News Service story on a bill to ban the chemical BPA in children's products that was published on Feb. 02, the effective date of the bill was incorrect. The bill would be effective July 1, and would give retailers until Jan. 1, 2012, to remove prohibited products from shelves.
