PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. (March 23, 2010) - The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.
THEFT: On March 14 at 2:53 p.m., Trooper Parker responded to the 5400 block of Mackall Road in St. Leonard for a reported theft. An extension cord was stolen from a trailer parked in the driveway.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On March 17 at 1:35 p.m., Trooper First Class Saucerman stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at the Thomas Johnson Bridge in Solomons. A strong odor of Marijuana was detected. A search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Zachary M. Hummer, 18 of Lusby, was arrested and incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
THEFT OF VEHICLE: On March 19 at 6:57 a.m., Trooper Lewis responded to the 1000 block of Carson Drive in Huntingtown for a reported motor vehicle theft. A blue 2000 GMC Sierra pickup truck was stolen from the victim's driveway.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, DRUG PARAPHERNALIA: On March 20 at 10:38 p.m., Trooper West stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Route 4 at Parran Road in St. Leonard. Upon approaching the vehicle, a strong odor of Marijuana was coming from the vehicle. Zachary L. Russell, 20 of Leonardtown, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed Marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was incarcerated at the Calvert County Detention Center.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On March 21 at 3:16 a.m., Corporal Bennett responded to the 600 block of Tobacco Ridge Road in Prince Frederick for a reported destruction of property. Two mailboxes at the entrance of Tobacco Ridge Road were damaged.
