St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 13, 2010) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest reports.

THEFT: On April 12, Deputy Ryan Kampf responded to the Walmart in California for a theft. Deputy Kampf learned Deborah J. Laquay, 49, of Lexington Park, was observed by store staff concealing merchandise in her purse. When Lequay exited the store, she was confronted and merchandise belonging to the business (cat food and cough medicine) was recovered. Laquay was charged on a criminal citation for theft under $100.

PROTECTIVE ORDER VIOLATION: On April 12, Dfc Charles Dodson located Clayton T. Dixon, Jr., 29, of Lexington Park, who was wanted for a violation of probation. While serving the warrant, Dfc Dodson discovered Dixon was at a residence in violation of a protective order. Dixon was served the warrant for the violation of probation, charged with violating the protective order and released to the custody of the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending an appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
