St. Mary's County Sheriff's Reports


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (April 15, 2010) - The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office today released the following incident and arrest report.

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE: On April 12 at 0522, a lookout was broadcast for a stolen vehicle reportedly taken from a residential driveway in Lexington Park. Deputy Kenneth Flerlage observed the vehicle (1994 Chevrolet Blazer) north bound on Three Notch Road at Chancellors Run. The vehicle was followed and eventually stopped on Maryland Route 4 in the area of Oak Drive. The two occupants were identified as Upton Lewis Crosby (passenger), 25, of Huntingtown, and Joshua Joseph Yates (operator), 21, of Lexington Park. Both subjects were arrested and charged with Theft over $1,000, Burglary to a Motor Vehicle and Motor Vehicle Theft.
