MSP Reports for St. Mary's County


LEONARDTOWN, Md. (Sept. 7, 2010) - The Leonardtown Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest reports.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Wednesday, September 1 at 8:09pm, TFC E. M. Evans arrested Ryan Anthony Murray, 25, of Waldorf, on a bench warrant (T3-14493). The warrant was issued by the District Court of St. Mary's County on June 29 with an original charge of Driving On A Suspended License. Mr. Murray was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Friday, September 3 at 12:09pm, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann arrested Christopher M. Roach, 32, of Lexington Park, on an outstanding bench warrant (T3-14562) issued on August 26. The warrant was issued for Failing to Appear in Court for a hearing or trial by the District Court of St. Mary's County. Mr. Roach was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

DRUG ARREST: On Friday, September 3 at 5:48pm, TFC C. M. Evans initiated a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 235, north of Maryland Route 712, on a white Ford Crown Victoria for a traffic violation. Upon making contact with the driver, Trisha Kathleen Jones, 34, of Lexington Park, and a male passenger, TFC Evans observed an unknown pill located on the floorboard of the passenger seat. The pill was a scheduled narcotic and a prescription was produced authorizing Ms. Jones to be in possession of it. However, an additional search revealed a CDS - Not Marijuana in Ms. Jones' property. Ms. Jones was arrested and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention. Ms. Jones was charged with Possession of CDS Paraphernalia and Possession of Hydromorphone and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

THEFT UNDER $1000: On Friday, September 3 at 8:50pm, TFC G. A. Thompson responded to the Wal-Mart at 45485 Miramar Way in California for a reported shoplifter in custody. Upon arrival, contact was made with loss prevention personnel who advised a male subject was detained upon attempting to leave the store without purchasing merchandise. A female subject involved in the theft was able to leave the scene prior to the Trooper's arrival. The female subject, Ashley Alexis Mackall, 20, of Lusby, returned to the Wal-Mart and made contact with TFC Thompson. Information provided by Ms. Mackall and the male subject resulted in her arrest for Theft Under $1000.00. Ms. Mackall was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

TRESPASSING: On Saturday, September 4 at 3:19am, Tpr. R. L. Jackson responded to the United States Post Office on South Coral Drive in Lexington Park for a reported subject sleeping in the lobby. Upon arrival, Tpr Jackson made contact with Oliver Henry Woods, Jr., 49, of Waldorf, who was sleeping in the lobby of the Post Office. Mr. Woods had been notified by Tpr. Jackson on two previous occasions that he was not permitted to sleep in the establishment and continuing to do so would be considered trespassing. Mr. Woods was subsequently arrested for Trespassing on Government Property and transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center. Mr. Woods was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, September 4 at 8:25am, TFC E. J. Page arrested Sarah Brooks Meador, 27, of Oxon Hill, on a bench warrant (T3-14564) issued by the District Court of Charles County. The warrant was issued on August 30 with an original charge of Driving Uninsured Vehicle. Ms. Meador was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

TRESPASSING: On Saturday, September 4 at 8:56am, TFC M. B. Adams responded to the St. Mary's Hospital in Leonardtown for a reported trespassing. Upon arrival, contact was made with hospital personnel who advised that Christopher Wayne Quade, Jr., 21, of Clements, was asked to the leave hospital property after causing a disturbance and refused to do so. TFC Adams made contact with Mr. Quade on the property and requested that he leave the premises, when Mr. Quade refused to he was arrested for trespassing and transported to St. Mary's County Detention Center where he was held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, September 4 at 4:09pm, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann while on a traffic stop in the area of Maryland Route 235 and Rescue Lane arrested Buck Timothy Morris, 28, of Brandywine. Mr. Morris had an outstanding arrest warrant (T3-14565) for Third Degree Burglary and Telephone Misuse: Repeated Calls. The warrant was issued by the District Court of Anne Arundel County on August 30. Mr. Morris was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.

WARRANT SERVICE: On Saturday, September 4 at 6:15pm, Tpr. B. T. Wiesemann arrested Kenneth Michael Woodburn, 21, of Leonardtown, on two outstanding bench warrants (T3-14307 / T3-14379). The warrants were issued by the District Court in St. Mary's County on January 29 and March 30. Original charges were Fourth Degree Burglary and Driving Without Required Authorization. Mr. Woodburn was transported to the St. Mary's County Detention Center and will be held pending a bond review with the District Court Commissioner.
