LA PLATA, Md. (Sept. 27, 2010) - The La Plata Barrack of the Maryland State Police (MSP) today released the following incident and arrest report.
POSSESSION OF MARIJUANA, CRACK-COCAINE: On September 24 at approximately 0052 hours, TFC W. Posey was on routine patrol on northbound Route 301, north of Plaza Drive when he observed a blue Buick LeSabre swerving out of the lane. TFC Posey stopped the vehicle. Contact was made with the driver Jonathan Lester Hicks, 22 of Waldorf, and his passenger, John Leston Hicks, 22 of Waldorf. TFC M. Newman and Tpr. D. Taylor arrived on the scene to assist. Corporal M. Davidison from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office arrived on the scene with his K-9. Jonathan and John Hicks were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana, crack-cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
